Valentine's Day is much the same here, as it is in the States. Vendors start appearing with heart shaped everything, candy and flowers. Pink and red balloons begin floating around attached to kids.
In the Primaria, the kids don't bring cards for their friends but some bring candies to share and the room moms pass out even more dolces (sweets).
In the Secondaria, Reilly and Regan's class chose names and brought little gifts for the classmate they chose.
The fun really started when school got out. We had a pool party with hot dogs and the works. The girls invited their friends from school and everyone had fun. (Regan, Diana, Julia, and Perla)

It was an afternoon of water fights and getting thrown in the pool.
Even Rory found himself being helped into the pool.
Once we were off lifeguard duty, Ron and I went to San Pancho for a Valentine's dinner with Martin and Priscilla. We had a great dinner on the beach, there was a live Cuban band and dancing. To top the night off we enjoyed beautiful fireworks directly over head.
Again....GREAT post! Thanks for sharing! Good to see the kids new friends. Keep them coming! I'm not bored yet! Love seeing your world:)
